M-803 Control and Power Assembly (remote power and control for P527-01, KB-30A Electric Horn)

The Kahlenberg Model M-803 Power and Control Assembly for use with the KB-30A (P527-01) Horn provides an amplified “horn” audio signal to the KB-30A, which is essentially a 100 watt all-weather speaker. The M-803 also includes a timer relay to set “on” and “off” times for a repeating pattern of horn signals. A thermostatically controlled internal heater prevents condensation inside the enclosure and allows for use in sub-freezing outdoor environments.

The M-803 is normally configured for activation by a simple push button, and when combined with Kahlenberg wireless transmitters and receivers, it can be remotely activated from distances of up to 10 miles away from the control station. Multiple horns can be activated synchronously, offering wide ranging coverage ideal for dams, open mining operations, or any other outdoor installation where high output warning signals are required.
